This bike tow rope has been designed to make family cycling, especially mountain biking, more fun and enjoyable for everyone. The Bike Taxi is only to be used on paths, where it is easy to take your child up climbs and thus eliminate physical differences.
The Bike Taxi is simply installed on the saddle rails of the person towing and is very quick to attach to the stem of the towed bike. Once at the top, the child can easily unhook it. The rope is made of high density polyethylene fibre, which is highly resistant to abrasion, and is self-retracting, without risk.
The Bike Taxi is suitable for all types of bicycles and the person towing can use an E-bike

Mounting instructions
The Bike Taxi is installed under the saddle between the two rails on the towing bike.
To connect the Bike Taxi, the bikes must be stationary. The loop at the end of the cable should be placed between or under the two clamping screws on the tow bike's aheadset stem. Make sure the towed bike's stem is equipped with a headset.
To disconnect the Bike Taxi, the bikes must be stationary. Unhook the loop from the Bike Taxi stem and release the cable. The cable will automatically retract into the Bike Taxi.
Directions for use
The Bike Taxi allows an adult cyclist weighing less than 116kg to pull a child of at least 5 years old who is properly trained on his bike. The total weight of the child and the bike must not exceed 95kg.
The Bike Taxi must be used under adult supervision and must not be left with a child unsupervised.
In order to cushion the shock when the cable is tensioned. The start of the towed and towed cyclists must be synchronized.
The Bike Taxi is only to be used when climbing on paths and not on public roads.
Be careful, steep or difficult climbs can lead to a dangerous descent for a child.
It is necessary to adapt your piloting not to take too tight turns, in order to keep the rope taut.
Be sure to maintain a constant and reasonable speed (max. 10 km/h).
Disconnect the rope before starting to descend a slope.

Hello, my mountain bike is equipped with a telescopic seatpost with a Sram AXS wireless control. Is the Bike Taxi compatible with this setup?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a reliable installation of the Bike Taxi on this equipment. The space left free on the seat rails by the AXS system is too narrow.
