Since 2006, Zéfal has been the official sponsor and supplier for pumps for FDJ Pro Team.
The FDJ team is a French professional bicycle team created in 1997. Financed by the French national lottery company, La Française des Jeux, the team is managed by former rider Marc Madiot.
Created in 1997 by brothers Madiot, Marc and Yvon, former professional racers, the team has achived great seasons. Since its foundation the team has in particular won the World Cup ranking thanks to Frédéric Guesdon and Davide Rebellin victories in 1997 and the French Cup by team in 1997, 1999 and 2005.
Since its creation, famous riders as Davide Rebellin, Frédéric Guesdon, Nicolas Vogondy, Christophe Mengin, Franck Perquie, Bradley McGee, Sandy Casar, Philippe Gilbert, Baden Cooke, Benedict and Francis Mourey Vaugrenard have been member of the FDJ team.
FDJ regularly participates in major cycling events including the Tour de France. The team has to its credit important results:
• 14 participations in the Tour de France, 7 stage victories.
• 27 national championships won, over the world, since 1997.
• 3 world championships.
• An Olympic team pursuit victory in Athens in 2004
