Since 2008, Zéfal has been the official sponsor and supplier for bottles and bottle cages for Cofidis Pro Team.

Cofidis is a French professional road bicycle racing team sponsored by a money-lending company, Cofidis. Created in 1996, the team is now a Professional Continental Team and is competing in three championships : road, track and handisport.

Led by Cyrille Guimard, a famous French bicycle team manager during its first season, the team was then managed by Alain Bondue, Alain Champetier and finally Eric Boyer since 2005.

Since the first year of competition, the Cofidis team has shown great ambition and recruited distinguished leaders. Many champions raced for Cofidis over the years, such as: Maurizio Fondriest, Lance Armstrong, Tony Rominger, Frank Vandenbroucke. David Millar, David Moncoutié and Sylvain Chavanel.

Since its creation, the Cofidis team won many victories :

• 14 participations in the Tour de France, 10 stage victories and Cofidis finished as the Top Team in the Tour in 1998.

• 13 participations in the Tour of Spain and 12 stage victories.

• 33 national championships won, over the world, since 1998.
